The Spanish Center of the Dominican Republic is in the town of Sosua, located on the north coast of the country. It is only 15 minutes from the International Airport in Puerto Plata. The school itself is situated close to the beach in the center of Sosua; Sosua is a very popular tourist area.
You will find all levels of study at the school: beginning, intermediate and advanced. The course study is tailored to the students' goals. Either private lessons or group study is offered. We try to limit the size of the groups to no more than four persons. Special arrangements can be made for couples.
In addition to learning a second language, such as Spanish, we want the student to become acquainted with the local culture. As a result, the course study includes introduction to the local music and Dominican cooking. The Merengue, for example, originated in the Dominican Republic.
